These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ParentSync application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by ParentSync (“ParentSync,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By creating an account, downloading, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Purpose of the Service

ParentSync is a neutral, privacy-focused organizational tool intended to help users record, organize, and manage information they choose to enter, such as schedules, messages, expenses, and parenting-related records.

ParentSync does not provide legal advice, medical advice, counseling, or professional services of any kind.

2. No Legal Advice or Decision-Making

ParentSync:

  • Does not interpret court orders

  • Does not provide legal guidance or recommendations

  • Does not take sides between users

  • Does not make decisions or influence outcomes

Any information stored, organized, or generated through the Service is user-provided or user-directed. Users are solely responsible for how they use the information.

You should consult a qualified attorney or professional for legal questions or decisions.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

Children do not create accounts and do not interact directly with ParentSync.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

  • All activity that occurs under your account

  • Ensuring information you enter is accurate to the best of your knowledge

You agree not to:

  • Access accounts you are not authorized to use

  • Attempt to bypass security or access controls

  • Use the Service for unlawful or abusive purposes

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, upload, or enter into the Service.

By using the Service, you grant ParentSync a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of all content you provide.

6. AI Features

ParentSync may offer optional AI-assisted features designed to help users organize information or draft content.

AI features:

  • Are optional and user-initiated

  • Provide drafting and organizational assistance only

  • Do not provide legal advice

  • Do not make decisions or recommendations

Users remain fully responsible for reviewing, editing, and using any AI-generated output.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription.

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or other authorized platforms. Pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation terms are governed by the applicable app store policies.

ParentSync does not manage or store payment information directly.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time using in-app tools.

When an account is deleted, associated data is permanently removed in accordance with our data retention practices, except where limited retention is required for legal, security, or operational purposes.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without liability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

ParentSync is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose.

ParentSync shall not be liable for:

  • Decisions made by users

  • Disputes between users

  • Loss of data, profits, or opportunities

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Your use of the Service is at your own discretion and risk.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ParentSync from any claims, damages, or disputes arising from:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Content you submit

  • Violations of these Terms

  • Interactions with other users

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which ParentSync operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
